BISE Swat SSC Annual-I 2026: Private Admission Guide (9th & 10th)

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Saidu Sharif, Swat, has initiated the process for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual-I Examination 2026. This examination is a critical milestone for students in the Swat, Buner, and Shangla districts. For private candidates—those not currently enrolled in a government or recognized private school—the board provides a streamlined online admission process to ensure educational accessibility.

Swat Board - SSC Admission

1. Eligibility Criteria for Private Candidates

Private admissions are intended for individuals who wish to appear for the 9th or 10th-grade exams independently.

  • Fresh Candidates (9th Class): Students who have never appeared for a board exam and meet the minimum age requirement (typically 14 years by the time of the exam). They must provide an original School Leaving Certificate (SLC) from their last attended school or an attested copy of their Birth Certificate/CNIC/Form-B.

  • 10th Class Candidates: Those who have successfully passed the 9th-grade examination from BISE Swat or another recognized board (provided they have a Migration Certificate).

  • Re-appear/Fail Candidates: Students who appeared in previous sessions but failed one or more subjects.

  • Improvement of Marks: Candidates who have already passed the SSC but wish to improve their grades in specific subjects or the whole part.

2. Step-by-Step Online Admission Procedure

BISE Swat has moved to a digital-first approach. Private candidates must follow these steps:

  1. Online Portal Access: Visit the official website at www.bisess.edu.pk. Look for the "Private Online Admission SSC" link.

  2. Form Filling: Select your category (e.g., Fresh 9th, 10th Full, Re-appear). Enter personal details accurately as they appear on your Birth Certificate or previous DMCs.

  3. Photograph Upload: You will need to upload a recent, passport-sized photograph with a blue or white background.

  4. Generating the Bank Challan: Once the form is filled, the system will generate a customized bank challan. Note that only computer-generated slips are acceptable.

  5. Fee Payment: Pay the required fee at the designated bank branches (typically UBL, ABL, or through OMNI/EasyPaisa portals as specified on the challan).

  6. Submission of Hard Copy: After payment, candidates must print the final application form and the paid challan. These, along with necessary documents (SLC, previous DMC, copy of CNIC/Form-B), must be submitted to the Board Office or sent via registered post to the Controller of Examinations.

3. Estimated Fee Structure (SSC 2026)

Given in the Image above.

4. Choice of Subjects and Groups

Private candidates generally choose between the Humanities (Arts) Group and the Science Group.

  • Science Group: Requires the candidate to have cleared practical requirements if applicable. Subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science, and Mathematics.

  • Humanities Group: Offers a wider range of elective subjects such as Islamic Studies, Civics, Economics, and Pashto.

5. Key Documentation Checklist

Ensure you have the following ready before starting the online application:

  • Original School Leaving Certificate (for fresh 9th).

  • Copy of Form-B or CNIC.

  • Previous DMC (for 10th or re-appear candidates).

  • Two passport-sized attested photographs.

  • Migration Certificate (if the candidate is from a board other than BISE Swat).

6. Preparation and Roll Number Slips

Once the admission is processed and verified, the board will upload Roll Number Slips approximately 15–20 days before the exams start. Private candidates must download these from the website; they are rarely sent via physical mail.

Candidates are advised to follow the official Scheme of Studies and Model Papers available on the BISE Swat portal to align their preparation with the 2026 exam pattern.

7. Contact Information for Assistance

For any technical issues during the online process or queries regarding eligibility:

  • One Window Cell: 0946-865730
